The artwork THE 3 SUNS by the international Siberian artist Svetlana Borisova has been awarded the OVER THE COVER Prize by the Jury of the BIANCOSCURO ART CONTEST – WINTER EDITION.
Here is an abstract from the artist description of her painting: " … I like this vision. Very close to my philosophy of living and my way of seeing things. The Sun, father of the Earth, is born from its two opposites. Two little suns behind the daughter. Invisible due to their ethereal nature. Covered by the powerful rays of their daughter Sole. It all stems from the union of two opposites. Light, Dark, Good, Evil, Beautiful, Ugly, Sky, Earth. In the centre of the painting is presented mother Earth, for us humans, the mother of our physical, material body. The Earth in turn has its parents: The Sun is the father and the Moon is the mother. It is represented with the symbols of Yin and Yang, with the colours of Water and Earth. With two human figures, the male principle and the female principle, painted at opposite poles, which in turn are creators of life. "
