BIANCOSCURO ART MAGAZINE has dedicated a page of #77 issue to the new works by the international Siberian artist Svetlana Borisova from the series “SKY AND SEA” which will be exhibited at the International Contemporary Art Fair ART MONACO 2026 which will be held in the evocative "venue" of the Chapiteau de Fontvielle in the Principality of Monaco from 11 to 13 September.
In this canvases, the density of the pictorial material becomes a voice: Svetlana models the oil and pigments with a vigour reminiscent of the currents of the Siberian rivers of her childhood. The sea, deep and material, boils with life, while the blue sky is furrowed by two white spirals that look like wings flying towards freedom. A perfect balance between overcome suffering and rediscovered beauty, where the horizon is not a border, but a starting point.
